Acura requires calibration any time the windshield is removed on an AcuraWatch-equipped MDX. We always inform customers of this.
Our recommendation: If you're using insurance, calibrate — cost is covered and there's no reason not to. If you're paying out of pocket, a non-calibrated replacement is a reasonable choice if the system was working perfectly before.
