| Pilkington | Our First Choice | Yes | OEM supplier for multiple Ford platforms; excellent consistency on flat-profile windshields; proven Co-Pilot360™ calibration compatibility |
| Fuyao / FYG (Ohio plant) | Our First Choice | Yes | Major OEM supplier for Ford; tight quality control on the Bronco's unique upright profile; reliable ADAS calibration results |
| Vitro / PGW | Approved | Yes | Solid reliability; used when Pilkington/Fuyao are back-ordered; always OEE-grade on ADAS-equipped vehicles |

Ford Co-Pilot360™ has been standard on the Bronco since its 2021 launch. Here's exactly what it means for your windshield replacement.

| Pre-Collision Assist with AEB | Yes | Camera angle may shift |
| Lane Keeping System | Yes | Camera angle may shift |
| Lane Departure Warning | Yes | Camera angle may shift |
| Adaptive Cruise Control | Radar + camera | Camera angle may shift |
| Auto High-Beam Headlamps | Yes | Camera angle may shift |

Ford's manufacturer documentation requires calibration any time the windshield is removed on a Co-Pilot360™-equipped Bronco. That's the official position — and we always make customers aware of it.
In practice, we do perform non-calibrated replacements. In the vast majority of cases the system continues to function normally — the camera re-mounts to the same bracket in the same position. We've seen this consistently across many Bronco jobs.
Our recommendation: If you're using insurance, calibrate — the cost is covered and there's no reason not to. If you're paying out of pocket and your Co-Pilot360™ was working perfectly before, a non-calibrated replacement is a reasonable choice. If warning lights appear after the job, bring it back and we'll calibrate at cost.
📋 Using Insurance? Start Your Claim →The Bronco's upright windshield takes more direct hits from road debris — especially off-road. Here's when repair is technically possible and why we lean toward replacement.
From $280 · Same-day mobile available throughout LA
$95–$150 · We'll always tell you if replacement makes more sense
On any Bronco with Ford Co-Pilot360™ (all of them), the forward camera reads through the windshield glass. Even a chip that appears far from the camera field of view can cause calibration issues after resin injection — resin changes the optical properties of the glass in that zone, and Co-Pilot360™ can fail calibration or generate intermittent warnings as a result.
The Bronco's flat, upright windshield profile makes chips more common — debris hits at closer to perpendicular angles compared to vehicles with raked windshields. If the chip is within 8 inches of the camera mount area (top center of the glass), we will almost always recommend replacement over repair. The math is straightforward: a repair costs $95–$150 with no warranty. A full replacement with calibration through insurance typically costs nothing. We'll give you an honest assessment either way.
