VW's documentation requires calibration after every windshield replacement on IQ.DRIVE-equipped Tiguans. We always make customers aware of this.
Our recommendation: If you're using insurance, calibrate — the cost is covered. Paying cash? A non-calibrated replacement is a reasonable choice if your system was working perfectly before. If warning lights appear, bring it back and we'll calibrate at cost.
